ABOUT BUDOBOY: Page 2

Firstly thanks for reading page 1 (if you havnt, please click the link above me photo to go direct to page 1).

Well I did get the 3m Apex (got it for a ton, so thaught for the price it worth getting, it just completes the quiver even if itwont be flown that often)

So have now got the full Apex quiver....

The big PKC buggy build is moving along nicely, nearly done, all but the welding, so all being well it should make its debut at "Lifes a Beach" 2010, at Pembrey in wales. It has been fun building it, and while there will only be 5 of them in existence, each one is personal so it is a one off.

Managed one of my goals recently at Pembrey in June 2010, managed a non stop buggying distance of 131 miles in one sesh, i shall be trying to improve on this distance though, again at Pembrey in September "Lifes a Beach" meet I shall attempt a new UK record of over 300 miles in one sesh - will I do it, well I will give it my best shot (if the weather and winds are good" - I shall let ya know -  Just need to break through the 50 mph barrier now.

Pictured above is the new PKC buggy which I have named "Dog", just seemed apt, thats all, no other reason. It handles and looks great, and is soon to be fitted with Assym wheels and Kenda beach tyres. Managed a speed of 42.2 mph on its first outing so that good too - maybe Dog will take me beyond the 50 mph barrier - who knows.

I only managed 175 miles at Pembrey so not the 300 I so much wanted to do, but hey never mind (the mileage was done in one go - no getting out the bug once started), one sesh, so that is quite an achievement in itself. Got to admit I was in bits when I got out the bug, legs all stiff could hardly walk for the first 5 minutes - will keep trying tho, I definately believe 300 miles in one sesh is do-able,
